IT Business Analyst - General Insurance Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Gather and analyze requirements, and manage change requests (CR)
2. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
3. Review and analyze system specifications
4. Create test cases for new change requests or enhancements
5. Create business requirement document (BRD) and obtain sign-off from the business
6. Gain experience in the General Insurance domain, preferably in Motor Insurance
7. Collaborate with the development team (internal/vendors) during development to ensure alignment with BRD
8. Work closely with the QA team to ensure the execution of all business-critical test cases and track the status
9. Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for delivered projects in coordination with business stakeholders
10. Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills
11. Be aware of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
12. Track project progress and maintain annexures/evidence related to requirements for internal/external audits
13. Seek ways to improve processes and systems
14. Analyze production issues and QC failures, proactively address them, and provide root cause analysis (RCA) in case of gaps from QA
15. Have experience in General Insurance, specifically in the Motor Insurance background
