About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client acquisition & retention:
- Proactively pitch to new and existing clients for advertisements in our magazines, securing booth space at exhibitions, and obtaining sponsorships for conferences and events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, including brands, retailers, and advertisers.

2. Sales target achievement:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue targets for our media and event properties.
- Identify new business opportunities by researching and analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and potential partnerships.

3. Strategic pitches:
- Craft persuasive sales pitches and presentations tailored to each client's unique business goals and how our platforms can help meet them.
- Present solutions that leverage our magazines, exhibitions, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and engagement for clients.

4. Market research & reporting:
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competition, ensuring we are offering innovative and competitive products to clients.
- Provide regular reports on sales progress, market feedback, and recommendations to the senior management team.

Other requirements

Key Skills & qualifications:

Minimum 1-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client servicing, preferably in media, events, or exhibitions within the fashion and textile industry.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage high-profile clients and stakeholders.

Proficiency in developing and executing business development strategies.

Ability to multitask, manage client relationships, and work under tight deadlines.

Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Willingness to travel within your designated region (Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, or Kolkata) to meet clients and attend events.

Salary
Duration: 6 months
Salary during probation: ₹15,000 - 20,000 /month (only for freshers)
After probation:

Annual CTC: ₹ 2,50,000 - 3,50,000 /year
