About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Sales target achievement: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in the assigned territory by promoting Kumbayah Foods' products to retail outlets and distributors
2. Customer relationship management: Build strong relationships with retailers and distributors, ensuring consistent product availability and visibility in the market.
3. Market development: Identify and onboard new retailers and distributors, expanding the market penetration of Kumbayah Foods' products.
4. Actively promote Kumbayah Foods' products through in-store promotions, point-of-sale materials, and product demonstrations.
5. Gather market intelligence, monitor competitor activities, and report trends and insights to the sales manager for strategy adjustments. Ensure optimal stock levels at retail outlets, avoiding stock-outs or overstocking situations.
6. Plan daily sales routes and visit schedules to cover maximum territory efficiently.
7. Submit timely and accurate sales reports, market feedback, and competitor analysis to the sales manager.

Key performance indicators (KPIs):

1. Product promotion: Achievement of sales targets.
2. Market intelligence: Number of new retailers/distributors onboarded.
3. Stock management: Increase in product visibility and market share.
4. Route planning and execution: Frequency and quality of customer interactions.
5. Reporting: Accuracy and timeliness of reporting.

Skill(s) required

English Proficiency (Spoken) Hindi Proficiency (Spoken) Sales

Who can apply

1. Candidates with minimum 1 years of experience.

2. Those who are from or open to relocate to Chennai and neighboring cities

Other requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (preferred).

2. Experience: Freshers with go-getter mind are welcome OR 1- 2 years of experience in field sales, preferably in FMCG.

3. Strong sales and negotiation skills.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

6. Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel).

7. Ideal/preferable candidate:

a. Two wheeler license & own vehicle is must.

b. Age between 25 to 36.

c. Go-getter type of person (freshers with eagerness to learn are also welcome).

Salary

Annual CTC: ₹ 2,16,000 - 3,00,000 /year
