1. Identify and target potential customers in a specific industry, region, or size of business
2. Make outbound sales calls to prospective clients and respond to inbound inquiries
3. Sell Kompass products and services, including advertising on our web portal and access to our B2B worldwide companies database
4. Answer questions about product specifications, pricing, and features
5. Upsell customers to larger products, more extensive packages, or higher priced services
6. Accurately and efficiently enter customer information into company databases for mailing and billing purposes
7. Maintain a list of potential leads and follow up with those customers by making subsequent sales pitches
8. Assist sales colleagues with arranging meetings and sales calls with customers.
9. Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
10. Investigate unfilled, misplaced, or misdirected orders and resolve customer issues as necessary
11. Specialize in inbound or outbound online marketing or sales for a particular industry
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
2. 1+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in a media industry, B2B portal, technology, or software (Freshers are also welcome)
3. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
4. Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers
5. Knowledge of the target market and industry trends
6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
7. Proficiency in sales software and tools, such as CRM and lead generation tools
8. Results-driven with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
9. Excellent time management and organizational skills
