We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a finance background with at least one year of experience, including internships, and must be proficient in Tally, bookkeeping, and Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain accurate financial records and manage transactions.
2. Perform daily bookkeeping tasks to ensure financial integrity.
3. Utilize Tally for financial management, including voucher entries, ledger maintenance, and generating reports.
4. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
5. Prepare and analyze financial reports using Excel, including advanced features like formulas and pivot tables.
6. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
7. Support the finance team during audits and other financial tasks as required.
Key Skills:
1. Proficiency in Tally for accounting and financial reporting.
2. Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
3. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and pivot tables.
4. Basic knowledge of GST and other statutory compliance requirements.
5. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
6. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
2. Minimum of one year of relevant experience (internships included).
3. Familiarity with accounting software (Tally) and Microsoft Excel.
