We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate 'Special Needs Teacher' to work with children who require additional support in their learning and development. We are looking for a kind and dedicated teacher to work with children who need extra help with learning and development. You will provide one-on-one support during their school day (shadow teaching) and conduct personalized teaching sessions at home. The focus will be on helping children improve academically and socially, managing behavior, and tailoring lessons to their individual needs. The goal is to create a caring and supportive learning environment where children can grow and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assessing children's skills and learning requirements
2. Developing tailored teaching plans
3. Designing monthly plans as per the child's needs and requirements
4. Assess students' abilities and craft teaching plans
5. Adapt learning materials to students' needs
6. Keep track of and reflect on students' progress
7. Monitor children's behavioral patterns and arrange appropriate interventions if needed
8. Inform parents about their children's performance and potential problems
9. Collaborate with the support staff (e.g. school counsellors and speech therapists) to create holistic intervention plans
10. Using audio-visual materials and computers to stimulate interest and learning.
11. Planning and delivering lessons, setting, and marking assignments.
Educational Qualification required:
1. A master's degree in clinical or counseling psychology, along with a B.Ed in special education, is required.
2. Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in psychology, home science, human development, sociology, or a related field.
3. ECCEd or Montessori training, as well as a B.Sc. degree, are also acceptable qualifications.
Annual CTC: ₹ 2,00,000 - 2,10,000 /year
