Retail Pharmacist Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Reviewing and executing physician's prescriptions accurately with complete knowledge on schedule drugs. Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently to patients while ensuring proper counseling on medication usage.
2. Utilizing your sales skills to promote and sell over-the-counter medications and health products to increase revenue. Providing excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
3. Collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure proper medication therapy management for patients.
4. Extremely strong with nos./data and ability to drive the organisation effectively with independent account management.
5. Stocking, inventory and vendor management.
6. Handing new vendor procurement and management for drugs and FMCG.
7. Staying updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and provide the best possible care to our patients.
8. Managing of near expiry drugs.
9. Maintaining records for controlled substances and removes outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory.
10. Completing pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing workflow, verifying purchase order entries, sales, expenses and record management.
11. Formulating & executing company's pharmacy strategy and lay down a whole systems framework and processes.
12. Participating in health screenings and wellness events to promote our services and drive foot traffic to the pharmacy.
13. Following the rules & regulations as required by the drug control department.
14. Performing other administrative tasks when needed.
