About Us: Join our innovative team! We're seeking a meticulous and driven Software Tester who can thoroughly test applications built in Node.js and Python, as well as test GUIs, and databases, and design and execute automation solutions. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about ensuring top-quality performance and usability in applications across multiple layers of development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Application Testing: Conduct thorough testing of applications built with Node.js and Python, identifying any potential issues or performance bottlenecks.
2. GUI Testing: Perform detailed testing of graphical user interfaces to ensure a smooth user experience, functionality, and visual consistency.
3. Database Testing: Verify database functionality, ensuring data integrity, and performance, and that operations meet expected outcomes.
4. Automation Development: Design, develop, and execute automation scripts to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
5. Bug Identification and Reporting: Log defects, provide clear and actionable reports, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
6. Regression Testing: Re-run tests post-fix to confirm that issues are resolved and that no new issues have been introduced.
Skills & Qualifications:
1. Experience: 3+ years in software testing with a focus on Node.js, Python, GUI, and database applications.
2. Automation Tools: Familiarity with automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
3. Strong Knowledge of Databases: Proficiency in testing databases (e.g., SQL, MongoDB).
4. Analytical Mindset: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to document test cases and defects clearly and effectively.
Nice-to-Haves:
1. Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
2. Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
3. Knowledge of containerization and Docker.
