Key Responsibilities

Deployment and Configuration:

Deploy and configure OCP versions 4.14 and 4.16.
Plan and execute migration of applications from VMware to OCP on bare metal, ensuring minimal downtime.
Troubleshoot migration issues, perform compatibility checks, and ensure seamless transition without data loss.
Create, manage, and monitor OCP clusters, ensuring they meet scalability, reliability, and performance standards.
Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and security patching for OCP clusters.
Conduct performance tuning for OCP clusters and applications.
Troubleshoot networking, storage, and load-balancing issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
Document deployment processes, configurations, and best practices.
Provide technical support and training to internal teams and stakeholders as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

5+ years of experience in OCP deployment and management, specifically with versions 4.14 and 4.16.
Proven experience in migrating applications from VMware to bare metal environments.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of Kubernetes, OpenShift, and container orchestration.
Proficiency with VMware, Dell storage solutions, and load balancers.
Familiarity with network configurations, storage options, and load balancing for high availability setups.

Certifications:

Red Hat OpenShift certification (e.g., Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift) preferred.
VMware certification (e.g., VCP-DCV) is a plus.
