Lab Technician Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Collect blood and the specimens for pathological investigations.
2. Routine examinations of:

a. Hematological
b. Stool
c. Urine
d. Sputum
e. CS fluid
f. Other fluid and exudates
g. HIV-testing

3. Handle bacteriological examination and serological examination.
4. Work on blood chemistry.
5. Take care of laboratory equipments and other materials.
6. Maintain records of the investigations and dispatch the reports.
7. Assist the pathologist and senior technician in advanced pathological investigations.
8. Carry out special examinations like culture of blood, urine etc.
