The 'Admission Counselor' will be responsible for providing prospective students with detailed information about academic programs, application processes, and opportunities for financial aid. You will serve as the primary point of contact for international students and guide them from inquiry through to enrollment. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and an understanding of international education systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Student Recruitment: Engage with prospective students through phone calls, emails, virtual meetings, and in-person sessions to provide information about the institution's programs, admissions process, and campus life.
2. Application Guidance: Assist applicants with the completion of admission requirements, including application forms, submission of transcripts, recommendation letters, and any other required documents.
3. Counseling & Advising: Provide personalized support to prospective students, helping them understand their program options, career prospects, and financial aid opportunities.
4. Outreach Activities: Participate in and organize recruitment events such as virtual open houses, international fairs, webinars, and school visits to attract prospective students.
5. International Admissions: Assist students from various countries, ensuring they understand the specific admission criteria, visa requirements, and academic standards needed for successful entry into the institution.
6. Communication: Maintain timely and professional communication with prospective students and their families, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the admission process.
7. Data Management: Track and manage prospective student data through the CRM system, ensuring all student inquiries, applications, and enrollment data are updated accurately.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, academic, and student services teams to support recruitment strategies, develop promotional materials, and ensure consistent messaging.
9. Market Research: Conduct research on international education trends, student needs, and emerging markets to inform recruitment strategies and improve the admissions process.
10. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on student inquiries, applications, and enrollments, providing insights and recommendations to improve recruitment efforts.
