Position Overview:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our AWS infrastructure. You will work closely with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various AWS services and a solid understanding of scripting in Python.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, including S3, IAM, security groups, VPC, and subnets.
2. Develop and deploy AWS Lambda functions using Python to automate tasks and processes.
3. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
4. Monitor and troubleshoot AWS services, ensuring high availability and security.
5. Maintain documentation related to infrastructure and deployment processes.
6. Stay updated on best practices and emerging technologies in AWS and DevOps.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in managing AWS infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of AWS services, particularly S3, IAM, VPC, security groups, and subnets.
Proficiency in Python, with experience in writing scripts and AWS Lambda functions.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools, specifically GitHub Actions.
Understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience with other AWS services (e.g., EC2, RDS, CloudFormation) is a plus.
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a bonus.
Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are desirable.
