About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Market research:
i. Analyze market trends and identify potential clients in need of IT services and solutions.
ii. Keep abreast of industry developments and competitor strategies.
2. Lead generation:
i. Develop and implement strategies for lead generation through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
ii. Qualify leads and arrange meetings with prospective clients.
3. Client relationship management:
i. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their IT needs and business challenges.
ii. Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations based on industry best practices.
4. Proposal and presentation development:
i. Prepare and present customized proposals that align with client needs, highlighting the value of our IT solutions.
ii. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposals are accurate and feasible.
5. Sales strategy execution:
i. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand our client base.
ii. Track sales performance metrics and report progress to management.
6. Internal team colaboration:
i. Work closely with marketing, project management, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
ii. Share feedback from clients with internal teams to improve service offerings.
7. Continuous improvement:
i. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the overall business development strategy.
ii. Stay informed about emerging technologies and IT solutions to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or a related field.

2. 1-2 years of experience in business development or sales within the IT sector.

3. Strong understanding of IT services, software development, cloud solutions, and emerging technologies.

4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

5. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

6. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

7. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
