Job Overview
We are seeking a mid-level BIM Engineer specializing in MEP Electrical for our Bangalore Urban office. This full-time position requires a professional with 4 to 6 years of work experience in MEP modeling and related software tools. The BIM Engineer will be responsible for providing highly accurate and dependable BIM models to support mission critical projects.
Qualifications and Skills
Proficiency in MEP Modeling (Mandatory skill)
Expertise in Autodesk Revit MEP (Mandatory skill)
Experience as an Electrical BIM Engineer (Mandatory skill)
Proficient in AutoCAD for developing and reviewing engineering drawings
In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines
Experience with Request for Information (RFI) processes and documentation
Familiarity with Navisworks for 3D model visualization and clash detection
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address design challenges efficiently
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP to ensure precision and quality
Collaborate with different project teams to integrate MEP systems into the overall BIM model
Conduct regular reviews and updates of BIM models to align with project specifications and standards
Generate comprehensive MEP drawings and details for construction and documentation purposes
Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to align their models with the project's BIM requirements
Implement clash detection using Navisworks and resolve conflicts within the BIM model
Prepare and manage RFI documentation to address queries related to MEP designs
Participate in project meetings to provide updates on BIM model progress and address technical issues
