About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Lead generation and prospecting: Identify potential customers through cold calls, emails, and networking. Research and generate leads to build a sales pipeline.
2. Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Act as the point of contact for clients, addressing queries and resolving issues.
3. Sales presentations and pitches: Present products or services to prospective clients and clearly communicate their value. Tailor sales pitches to match client needs and industry-specific demands.
4. Negotiation and closing: Negotiate terms of sales agreements, including price, delivery, and other conditions. Close sales deals effectively and meet or exceed targets.
5. Product knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the products or services offered. Be able to explain the benefits and features to clients confidently.
6. Market research and analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies. Adjust sales strategies based on market insights.
7. Sales reporting and documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and sales forecasts. Prepare regular sales reports and provide insights to senior management.
8. Collaboration with teams: Collaborate with the marketing, product, and customer service teams to align sales efforts. Provide feedback on product improvements and customer needs.
9. Achieving sales targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Continuously improve sales techniques and performance to drive growth.

Other requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Additional certifications in sales or marketing are a plus.
2. Familiarity with sales tools like CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot). Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.
3. Good communication skills.
