Software Development Work From Home Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Writing, testing, and debugging small sections of code under the guidance of senior developers. This could involve implementing features, fixing bugs, or adding unit tests using languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript, depending on the project.
2. Assisting with or participating in code review processes either by submitting their own code for feedback or shadowing seniors to learn how to spot issues and improve quality.
3. Updating project documentation, such as writing comments in code, maintaining user guides, or keeping track of changes in a README file or wiki.
4. Investigating tools, libraries, or frameworks that could benefit the project. For example, they might compare two database options or explore an API the team's considering.
5. Running manual or automated tests to ensure features work as expected. This might include writing simple test cases or helping with quality assurance tasks.
6. Attending daily stand-ups (like Agile scrums) to report progress, ask questions, and understand the broader project goals. They might also join planning or brainstorming sessions.
7. Handling smaller, repetitive tasks like setting up development environments, organizing files, or preparing sample data to free up senior devs for more complex work.
8. Understanding the codebase, studying the project's architecture, or pairing with a mentor to learn best practices and workflows.
