As a prompt engineering & LLM research intern, you will explore, test, and refine prompts across various large language models (LLMs) to enhance their performance. This role is ideal for candidates with prior experience in prompting and eager to dive deep into the mechanics of language model responses.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Develop and experiment with prompts: Create, test, and optimize diverse prompts for various LLMs, analyzing effectiveness in different contexts.
2. Research prompting techniques: Conduct in-depth research on best practices, innovative approaches, and new techniques in prompt engineering across models.
3. Tool utilization: Work with advanced tools like ChatGPT Pro, cloud services, and APIs, maximizing their potential for research and prompt refinement.
4. Document insights and strategies: Maintain a well-organized record of successful and unsuccessful prompt strategies to build a repository of best practices.
5. Collaborate and discuss findings: Participate in regular sessions with the team to discuss findings, share insights, and brainstorm new approaches.
