Media & Public Relations (PR) Work From Home Part Time Internship

'The Public Relations Intern' is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that build and maintain a positive public image for the organization. This role involves creating and managing media relations, crafting press materials, and executing promotional campaigns to enhance the organization's reputation.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Media relations:
i. Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and other media representatives.
ii. Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other communication materials.
iii. Coordinate media interviews and press conferences.
2. Content creation:
i. Create compelling content for press releases, blog posts, speeches, and social media platforms.
ii. Ensure all content aligns with the organization's brand voice and messaging.
3. Strategic planning:
i. Develop PR strategies and campaigns that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
ii. Conduct research to understand the target audience and market trends.
4. Event management:
i. Plan and coordinate promotional events, product launches, and media briefings.
ii. Handle logistics, including venue selection, catering, and guest lists.
5. Crisis management:
i. Prepare and implement crisis communication plans.
ii. Act as a point of contact for managing and responding to media inquiries during a crisis.
6. Monitoring and reporting:
i. Track media coverage and public sentiment related to the organization.
ii. Prepare reports and analytics on PR campaign performance and media outreach efforts.
