About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Design, build, and maintain high-performance Android applications using Java/Kotlin.
2. Work with the product and design teams to implement seamless UI/UX.
3. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate REST APIs and real-time data.
4. Implement features such as WebSockets for real-time communication and video/audio streaming.
5. Optimize the app for performance and scalability across different devices.
6. Debug and fix bugs, and improve application performance based on user feedback.
7. Integrate third-party libraries and APIs like Twilio for communication features.
8. Implement JWT authentication for secure user sessions.

1. Experience in EdTech or educational apps: Previous experience building or contributing to apps in the education sector, understanding the needs of students and educational institutions.

2. Cross-platform development experience: Familiarity with React Native or other cross-platform frameworks to build apps for both Android and iOS is a plus.

3. UI/UX design principles: Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating intuitive, seamless user experiences. Experience working closely with designers to implement visually appealing interfaces.

4. Cloud services knowledge: Experience working with AWS, Google Cloud, or other cloud services to optimize backend infrastructure for mobile applications.

5. Agile/Scrum experience: Familiarity with agile development methodologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

6. Experience with mobile app security: Knowledge of best practices in securing mobile applications, including encryption, secure data storage, and preventing security vulnerabilities.

7. Understanding of app store guidelines: Familiarity with the processes and requirements for publishing apps on Google Play Store (for Android) and Apple App Store (for iOS), including handling updates and versioning.

8. Performance optimization: Experience in optimizing mobile apps for performance, including reducing app size, improving load times, and managing memory usage.
