About the work from home job/internship
At AssistFit, we are revolutionizing the fitness industry by creating a smart gym ecosystem that enhances workout experiences through real-time tracking, personalized fitness plans, and data-driven insights. As we continue to innovate, we are looking for a dedicated iOS development intern to join our team for a 3-month internship and contribute to the development of our iOS application.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Collaborate with our development team to build, test, and deploy features for the AssistFit iOS app.
2. Implement new features such as workout tracking, sensor data integration, and user analytics.
3. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Swift and Xcode.
4. Assist in debugging and troubleshooting issues within the app.
5. Contribute to the design and enhancement of user interfaces to ensure a smooth and intuitive user experience.
6. Work with RESTful APIs to fetch and display real-time fitness data.
7. Participate in code reviews and team discussions, sharing your progress and learning from senior developers.
Requirements:
1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
2. Familiarity with Swift and Objective-C (basic understanding).
3. Knowledge of Xcode, iOS SDK, and UIKit.
4. Basic understanding of iOS app lifecycle and Apple's human interface guidelines.
5. Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and basic networking.
6. A passion for fitness or interest in developing fitness-related apps is a plus.
