Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities:
1. Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and assist in building targeted sourcing strategies
2. Conduct thorough phone verifications to confirm candidate contact details distinguishing between direct lines, mobile numbers, and company reception
3. Use IVR options and extensions to identify direct contacts for potential candidates
4. Document detailed notes in the CRM, including call notes, LinkedIn connections, email responses, and contact validation
5. Reach out to passive candidates via email and LinkedIn, updating interactions with the senior recruiter for follow-ups
6. Update and maintain the internal resume database with verified profiles and new candidate entries
7. Expand talent pipelines by requesting referrals from employees, industry professionals, and other networks
8. Re-engage with previously shortlisted candidates to assess suitability for current and future openings
9. Use Boolean search strings and advanced sourcing techniques to find niche candidates across diverse job categories
10. Conduct benchmark research on market trends, salary insights, and role expectations in the US region
11. Apply filters, CRM tagging, and recruitment preferences effectively within the system
12. Track and maintain source of hire, time-to-fill, and candidate quality metrics for reporting and improvement
13. Organize and maintain Excel-based documentation and folder structures for sourcing and candidate tracking
14. Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure clear communication throughout the mapping process
15. Focus on intensive learning and hands-on application for the first two years, emphasizing live market research, phone/email verifications, sourcing techniques, and CRM documentation aligned with U.S. recruitment practices
16. Commit to a full-time role for the first 3 months with a 12-hour-per-day shift (6:30 PM IST - 6:30 AM IST) to ensure deep understanding, high-quality learning, and uninterrupted focus on training and shadowing activities
17. Transition to a 6:30 PM IST - 3:00 AM IST shift post the initial phase, with continued performance monitoring, task ownership, and structured feedback sessions
18. Work directly with the Director and senior recruiters, participating in training cycles, shadowing sessions, and task-based learning, with ongoing evaluations to ensure progress and accuracy
19. Operate within a highly structured environment with strict accountability complete assigned tasks with precision, without the need for reminders or repeated instructions
20. Maintain attention to detail, particularly in verification, note-taking, LinkedIn messaging, and CRM updates
21. Manage multiple sourcing and verification tasks simultaneously while meeting performance benchmarks and documentation standards
