Data Scientist Work From Home Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities:

1. Extract data from websites using different scraping techniques and tools, such as HTML parsing or API calls
2. Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure quality and consistency for analysis
3. Create reports and documentation for internal teams and management to understand data-driven results
4. Work closely with other teams (such as software engineers, business analysts, etc.) to identify business needs and find solutions
5. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards, respecting website terms of service and data privacy laws

Requirements:

1. Apply web scraping techniques using tools like Python libraries to extract data from websites and save it in a structured format
2. Use programming languages like Python and libraries such as Beautiful Soup or Scrapy to automate the process
3. Explore and utilize web scraping tools like ScraperBee or iWeb Scraping
4. Candidates with knowledge of the above-mentioned tools and techniques will be preferred
