About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work on wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for BookLore's platform and marketing materials.
2. Help gather insights by analyzing user behavior, conducting surveys, and assisting in usability testing sessions.
3. Work closely with senior designers, developers, and content creators to refine designs and implement feedback.
4. Organize and update design systems, style guides, and reusable UI components.
5. Assist in refining layouts, typography, color schemes, and visual elements for web, mobile, and desktop interfaces.
6. Research the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices to contribute fresh ideas.
7. Join brainstorming sessions, share design progress, and receive mentorship from senior team members.
8. Learn how UI designs translate into code by collaborating with developers (HTML, CSS basics are a plus!).

Other requirements
1. Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or product designer.
2. Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles and design best practices.
3. Expertise in web and mobile design with proficiency in typography, color theory, and responsive design.
4. Experience designing for cross-platform environments (web, mobile, and desktop).
5. Proficiency with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
6. Knowledge of prototyping and wireframing tools.
7. Basic development knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to bridge the gap between design and development.

Additional information
Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 200 per design).
