About the internship
We are looking for a motivated Sales Support Intern to assist our sales team in managing customer interactions and handling incoming and buying leads, particularly through cold calling. The ideal candidate will help drive sales growth by supporting day-to-day operations, providing excellent customer service, and facilitating communication between clients and the sales team.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Cold Calling: Initiate calls to potential customers from provided leads, particularly via platforms like IndiaMART, to generate interest and schedule meetings.
2. Handling Incoming Calls: Respond to incoming inquiries from customers, offering accurate product/service information and directing calls to the appropriate departments when needed.
3. Lead Management: Track, manage, and prioritize incoming leads from multiple sources, including IndiaMART, ensuring timely follow-up and lead qualification.
4. Client Communication: Provide clients with up-to-date information about products and services, fostering positive relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
5. Data Entry & CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all interactions with leads and customers in CRM systems, ensuring that sales representatives have up-to-date information.
6. Sales Support: Assist sales representatives with various administrative tasks, such as preparing sales materials, scheduling appointments, and managing documentation.
7. Follow-Up: Ensure consistent follow-up with potential clients to maximize lead conversion and contribute to the sales pipeline.
