About the internship

As an intern with us, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of software testing.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Requirement Analysis: Understand and analyze business requirements, ensuring clarity in functionalities for effective test planning.
2. Functional Testing: Execute test cases to ensure the application meets all functional requirements.
3. Test Automation: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to validate software performance, functionality, using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
4. Exploratory Testing: Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential bugs and edge cases that may not be covered by traditional test cases.
5. Defect Tracking: Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or
similar, and ensure timely resolution.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality software delivery.
7. Test Documentation: Prepare test plans, test cases, and reports, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and documentation.

Other requirements
1. Requirement Analysis: Strong understanding of requirement analysis to design accurate and effective test cases.
2. Functional Testing: Hands-on experience with functional and regression testing.
3. Automation Tools: Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or any equivalent.
4. Exploratory Testing: Ability to perform exploratory testing to discover issues that might not be caught through automated tests.
5. Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills for identifying root causes of defects.
6. Bug Tracking Tools: Experience with defect tracking systems such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
7. Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work in an agile environment with cross-functional teams and good communication skills.
Qualifications:
1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information
technology, or a related field.
2. Certifications (Preferred): ISTQB (international software testing qualifications board) certification.
