Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conducting home visits to assess the needs of clients and provide support services.
2. Developing individualized care plans and goals for each client.
3. Collaborating with community resources to advocate for clients' needs.
4. Providing crisis intervention and counseling services to clients in need.
5. Participating in team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress.
6. Documenting client interactions and progress in accordance with agency policies.
7. Assisting in program evaluation and quality improvement initiatives.

Arumai Illam Charitable Society in Sholampettai, Mayiladuthurai, provides social support to approximately 100 individuals through its special homes for senior citizens and destitute children, as well as a special school for mentally differently-abled children.
Support services include accommodation, food, healthcare, clothing, education, and spiritual guidance.
