Medical Transcriber Internship

We are seeking a motivated Medical Transcriber Intern for a 6-month internship to assist in reviewing and summarizing handwritten medical reports, case histories, and prescriptions. The intern will be responsible for accurately entering the summarized data into our electronic health record (EHR) system. This role is ideal for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in medical documentation and data management while working closely with healthcare professionals.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Reviewing and interpreting handwritten medical documents, including patient reports, case histories, and prescriptions.
2. Summarizing key information from medical documents clearly and concisely.
3. Accurately entering summarized information into electronic forms and EHR systems.
4. Verifying the accuracy of the data entered by cross-referencing with original documents.
5. Communicating with healthcare professionals to resolve ambiguities or clarify unclear information in documents.
6. Maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information and complying with data protection regulations.
7. Assisting in organizing and managing digital medical records and summaries.
