International Business Development Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities:

1. Conduct market research to identify potential export opportunities, analyze market trends, and gather information on competitors and target markets
2. Correspond with international clients, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to coordinate shipments, resolve inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service
3. Assist in preparing and organizing export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping documents
4. Learn and adhere to export regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring all shipments comply with international trade laws and regulations
5. Assist in coordinating the logistics of export shipments, including booking freight, arranging transportation, and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery
6. Maintain accurate records of export transactions, input data into relevant systems, and generate reports as needed
7. Provide administrative support to the export team as required, including filing documents, organizing files, and completing miscellaneous tasks to ensure smooth departmental operations
8. Actively participate in training sessions and educational opportunities to enhance understanding of export processes, international trade, and related topics
9. Identify opportunities for process improvement within the export department, offering suggestions for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness
