Overview:
Fabulous Media is a leading media company that focuses on health, wellness, and lifestyle content. We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Dietetics/Nutrition Intern. This position is perfect for someone who is currently studying or recently graduated in the field of dietetics or nutrition and is looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced
environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on current nutrition and diet trends, and assist in developing content for our platforms including social media, website, and print publications
- Collaborate with the editorial team to create engaging and informative articles related to diet and nutrition
- Attend and assist in the planning and execution of events related to health and nutrition
- Assist in creating and analyzing surveys to gather data and insights on our audience's dietary preferences and needs
- Support the creation and management of meal plans and recipes for different dietary needs
- Participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas for content and campaigns
- Help with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing emails, and maintaining databases
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a dietetics or nutrition program, or a recent graduate
- Strong interest and knowledge in health, wellness, and nutrition
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
