About the internship

Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic business developer to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the drone industry. This role involves driving new business opportunities, building client relationships, conducting market research, and developing growth strategies.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Drive new business opportunities and expand market presence
2. Build and maintain strong client relationships
3. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends
4. Develop and implement strategic growth plans
5. Prepare and deliver business proposals and presentations
6. Collaborate with internal teams on business development projects
7. Monitor competition and industry developments
8. Maintain up-to-date client databases and project documentation
9. Provide regular market updates to senior management

Other requirements

1. A minimum of 1 year of experience in business development, preferably in the technology or drone industry.

2. Possess strong sales and business development skills.

3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

4. Knowledge of the drone ecosystem and market trends.

5. Ability to conduct market research and identify new opportunities.

6. Experience in building client relationships.

7. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

8. Ability to work independently and in a team.

9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project).

10. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

11. Experience in the defense, government, or agriculture sectors is a plus.

12. An MBA or masters degree in business is preferred.

13. This is not a technical job; thus, refrain from applying if you are looking for an engineering job.
